THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN: More Details Revealed About New Album Recording Sessions
July 5, 2007THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN has entered the studio to begin work on its brand new full-length album.
THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN has teamed with longtime engineer Steve Evetts at Omen Room Studios in Los Angeles, California to begin tracking songs. The band will remain in L.A. through July to complete work on the record. The drum tracks were recorded at Sonikwire Studios by Gil Sharone (STOLEN BABIES, PUSCIFER). A fall release via Relapse Records is expected.
THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN has posted a number of video teasers leading up to their time in the studio, including snippets of the writing process, their high-speed cross-country travels to the studio, and a "Sopranos"-esque montage. Watch the footage at this location.
